Dan King

As the Institute for Justice’s Communications Project Manager, Dan King works to make the case for IJ’s key issues in the court of public opinion.

Prior to joining IJ, Dan was a digital strategist at Stand Together, where he executed grassroots ad campaigns focused on criminal justice reform, immigration and tech policy. Additionally, his writing has been featured at Reason, The Week, The Bulwark, The Weekly Standard, National Review, The Federal Sentencing Reporter, and many other publications. Before moving to D.C., Dan worked as a journalist in upstate New York, first as Associate Editor for The Whitehall Times, and then as Weekend Editor for The Post-Star.
